TCAPS went beyond the classroom walls and into the vast community outside last September 10, 2010 on a school outing that provided students with experiences that cannot be duplicated in the school but are nonetheless an integral part of the general knowledge which are worthwile for students. A fun-filled day of learning expansion!
First stop: MUSEO NG KATIPUNAN. A time-warped museum complete of replicas and images that delivers visitors back in time to the Spanish era up to the Philippine Revolution of the 1800s.
Next, TCAPS paid homage to the less fortunate children of the Fundacion de Damas de Filipinas Settlement House run by the Asosasyon de Damas de Filipinas Foundation in Paco, Manila. The institution that went down on an infernal tragedy killing dozens of lives more than a decade ago.
After a quick lunch at the small but all-in one destination BLUE WAVE MALL in Pasay City,a wildlife encounter at the DAVAO CROCODILE PARK (CCP Complex).
At the KULTURANG PINOY, the students were re-oriented to various Philippine cultures, traditions and native dances. Some long-established common recreations like piko, sungka, chinese garter, trumpo, sipa and patintero were relived.
