The Children's Ark Preparatory School

La Mesa Ecopark Retreat

Gilbert Chesterton hit it plainly, ” The true object of all human life is play. Earth is a task garden; heaven is a playground.”

The Children’s Ark Preparatory School believes that the growth and development of every child should not be confined only in the four corners of the room. The monotonous routine every student has to undergo daily for the rest of his or her grade school life produces only an unhealthy pattern. There should be an escape. A once in a while dodge from the realities and challenges of the daily life. A momentarily time away to seek a path of discernment and to live life more fully.

TCAPS  guarded and set aside a time for a RETREAT without interruptions; a safe and quiet place to contemplate, reflect and play; with the school’s dutiful teachers as the guiding voices. And on January 28,  we found ourselves at the refreshing La Mesa Dam Ecopark for a one full day of  bonding, self-development and most importantly, withdrawal from the harried life.

“Banana shake..shake banana”

The children are now very serious discussing and sharing in preparation for their cheering competition…..

A game wherein Kyle have to guess the code Kyla is trying to pass..

In riding a horse, we borrow freedom!

They say the bicycle is a curious vehicle because its passengers is its engine.

Always remember to be happy because you never know who’s falling in love with your smile.

Freedom goes hand in hand with mutual respect.

The kids gamely followed Ate Ten with her dancing..

The dainty smiles from the appealing TCAPS faculty.

We are trying to form a star showing our friendship band from Eco Park….

Ms. Caroline Vargas with her dazzling daughters Liza and Diane

Whole class enjoying the Sun bathing????? The children gamely posed while Ate Ten gives instructions.

That’s Ate Ten Ten

True friends, last forever.
